I'm 5'1" and 13" tall, I ordered a medium size (which I usually wear) after reading the reviews that these West are great I thought the setting would be perfect. I wanted it to be a bit loose so I could wear a sweatshirt or light riding jacket underneath. I can barely close the vest on my chest with the t-shirt while the torso/stomach of the vest feels too big and short. It is usually narrower at the top than at the bottom and short at the front. This vest is definitely not for tall women with a large bust. I don't think increasing the size will solve these problems, it's an aspect ratio issue.
