I've been waiting for Nike to come back with the Pegasus running shoe that works just as well as the original did in the 90's. They were great all-rounders, but they weren't. The 35 Shield keeps mud and mud out well (as advertised), the lacing system works well and the fit is perfect. The problem lies in the lateral support of the top - there is none. It's like walking in socks. At every bend in the road, my feet feel like they're about to fall off the sole. Absolutely can't take it off the road, even dirt tracks are questionable and should be flat. Any side hill or curve makes running uncomfortable.
