Not what I expected, good in a way but bad in a way.

First, the lacing system is not very good. Maybe it's ok once you're used to it, but I didn't think it would be as much of a problem as it was. shoes are tight. It sucks to keep going. And the material on the heel, on the heel and not the sole, starts to roll and rub. It gets bad enough that it can go from "annoying" to painful. However, they are warm and suitable for the weather. But I've been far happier with other pairs of Nike shoes, including some weatherproof Air Pegasus I've bought in…

For a narrow foot

The boots look and will hopefully be more comfortable, a bit narrow in the area of the laces, apparently Nike has started to sew a tongue (sewn in) into the inner bottom of the boot shoes and doesn't allow for much movement, which can be great if that's what you're looking for, but I can also just tie the laces to the degree of tightness I want without forcing an overly tight fit. And that doesn't mean I can choose a larger size, then the shoes will be sloppy in other places, so I hope they…

Must be a fake or factory defect

Must be a fake, not like the original Air Zoom Pegasus 35 Shield which I first bought in 2019 and which was one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever owned would have. This pair is much narrower than the originals, although not marked as such. Part of the sole came off within the first two weeks of wearing and I had to glue it back on. They are so tight that I cannot wear them for long. Unfortunately I didn't return them immediately so I don't have the $186.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I am a woman who fits perfectly with Nike Men's Air Zoom Pegasus 35 9 1/2

I am a woman who fits perfectly with Nike Men's Air Zoom Pegasus 35 9 1/2. I had 4 pairs. I wanted to try the men's Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 Shield version but was afraid the fit would be different. Don't worry, it's wonderful and I couldn't be happier! Love it. I have a narrow/normal foot and this shoe fits my foot and arch perfectly. In the Converse Allstar, I'm a men's 8. Toe to heel for me is 11 inches / ball of foot is 4 inches. When it comes to women's shoes, I usually wear European size…

Sock-like shoes are good for running

I've been waiting for Nike to come back with the Pegasus running shoe that works just as well as the original did in the 90's. They were great all-rounders, but they weren't. The 35 Shield keeps mud and mud out well (as advertised), the lacing system works well and the fit is perfect. The problem lies in the lateral support of the top - there is none. It's like walking in socks. At every bend in the road, my feet feel like they're about to fall off the sole. Absolutely can't take it off the…

Great versatile shoe. I love the lack of laces.

I ran in Lunar Glides for many years. Wanted a more neutral shoe but was concerned about the fit as the Lunar Glide fit me well. I love the styling of the Pegasus Shield and the fit was as good if not better than the Lunar Glide and I have wide feet. The lacing system was a bonus. It's more of a thin tip, spring loaded, which is actually good for a bottom tip. No more shoes coming off while running and bouncing. I've only run about 12-15 miles in them but couldn't be happier.

  • Great for a small home

Love my Pegasus - Shoes

Love my Pegasus! I've had a pair for over 30 years, they last so long and are so comfortable. First pair for stability and now I want to order a second pair in a lighter color. Bought a second pair in light gray with black uppers and white soles. LOVE YOU TOO! I replaced the laces with #LockLaces

Great hiking/work shoes so far

I have to admit that I didn't buy these shoes for running, but as a "smart" shoe. They are solid black and would be perfect for this purpose. .Meanwhile I tried them as hiking shoes in the Swiss Alps, where they performed very well - the water-repellent coating works and the tread has excellent grip. They're a little pricey for this purpose, but they're very light, have good cushioning, look pretty stylish, and are easy to put on and take off. They do pick up some alpine dust, but after a few…
