Edit: After two months of occasional use the joystick stopped working when moved in the right direction. I hope Cipon can replace or refund this product even though the return period has passed. ***I am a very novice gamer who needs a Gamecube controller to play Gamecube games on Wii. I first tried another third-party controller and was very disappointed with its unresponsive buttons and drifting joystick. This Cipon controller is the best in the world. Of course, it probably won't match the quality of an original Nintendo controller. But official Nintendo Gamecube controllers are a lot more expensive - and keep in mind that almost all controllers on the market are pre-owned, meaning you have no idea what condition yours will be in when you buy them. On the other hand, this is a new controller. The joystick is stuck. The buttons are responsive (albeit a bit too clicky in my opinion). The L and R buttons are each pressure sensitive (other brands I've tried have had them soft). I know longevity and longevity is always an issue with third party controllers. I've only had it for a few weeks so I can't comment on durability. But for casual gamers who don't need anything fancy - just a controller that works as it's supposed to - it will do the job well. If you're on the fence, give it a try.
