Replacement lids must fit
I purchased these lids to replace the original lids that came with the Pyrex containers. The replacement caps didn't seal as tightly as the "old" caps I need to replace. So there's no point in keeping them. I returned them and don't plan on experimenting with more trial and error (i.e. maybe stumbling across a set that actually fits like it should). So when I pack the salad to take to work, I will continue to use a sheet of plastic wrap between the bowl and the lid to prevent the inevitable spills. Very disappointing. These Pyrex storage containers are built to last. But the lids will be gone long before that.
