Pyrex Combo: 7210-PC 3-Cup Blue 🔵 Plastic Lids - Set of 3 Items Review

Somehow the glass survived the original covers! I usually break everything up fine, but it's amazing that all 3 bowls are still intact and need new lids. I'm going to hand wash the new ones because the old ones ONLY lasted 10 years in the dishwasher - LOL! These new ones are a bit stiffer but fit great and I think they will last a long time.

Pyrex 7210-PC Rectangular Dark Blue 3 Glass Jar Storage Lid (4, dark blue) does not fit the Pyrex glass jar it is designed for. The lid is too big to cover the pyrex bowl. This seller does not allow the buyer to return this item at all. I haven't used it for three days after receiving the product etc. but when I requested a return I received a message that this product cannot be returned. Buyer warning!

I have 12 rectangular pyrex glass plates that I have been buying for years. Some of my lids ended up cracking so I replaced them with this set. Only 1 fits in the set! All the others are so fluffy that I definitely can't store anything liquid because they leak everywhere. I can't believe I only got 'bad' out of 1 out of 3 fittings. I will not buy them again, I will just order directly from the Pyrex website.

I bought these lids to replace the original lids that came with the Pyrex jars. The replacement caps didn't seal as tightly as the "old" caps I need to replace. So there's no point in keeping them. I returned them and don't plan on experimenting with more trial and error (i.e. maybe stumbling upon a set that actually fits like it should). So when I'm packing the salad to take to work, I'll continue to use a sheet of plastic wrap between the bowl and the lid to prevent the inevitable spills…

My Pyrex containers came with clear plastic lids with a red rubber rim and a microwavable vent. I loved them but they all broke after the first use and got worse with each use. I was so frustrated because Pyrex is very expensive and I didn't want to throw them away or give them away just because of the broken caps so I searched the internet hoping I could just get the caps and was so happy to find these Find replacement caps for Amazon. They fit perfectly. I couldn't believe how good.

Pyrex lids have gotten very cheap in recent years. Cheap in quality, not in price. For some reason, blue lids last longer than red, white, or green. We complained to Pyrex that our red caps were cracking shortly after purchase and they replied that we should buy new caps online at their inflated prices. Revain was the most reasonably priced. We have phased out plastic food storage items and now use Pyrex. Due to Pyrex's reaction to the poor quality of their lids, we will not be buying new Pyrex
