I use Col. Conk Lime with Taylor of Old Bond Street Avocado Shaving Cream. I usually use warm water for my brush and when it gets wet I use it to lather the lime soap until I see the brush is charged, then use my finger to scoop up a pea-sized amount of avocado cream and spread it onto my charged brush. I start by frothing the lime and avocado in a bowl to get a thick foam and amazing flavor. The shave is clean. I feel like the glycerin really helps to ensure excellent glide and the avocado cream adds body and rich lather. I've been using this method for 5 years and I love it, I always get a good consistent shave with no razor bumps, no breakouts, no issues with my skin. When using both ingredients, I also noticed that they last a very long time, around 3-5 months for lime soap and 6-8 months for avocado cream, which is a lot compared to other creams and gels that are usually far inferior to this combination. I first saw a YouTube video about this combo and wondered why I should use two products instead of one that does both jobs, but after trying a few other quality products I felt this one would do the trick combination were not superior. Finally, the aromatic combination of lime and avocado complement each other perfectly. Highly recommended.
