If I had long flowing hair like Fabio's, I wouldn't need it. But at my age, the ponytail really doesn't work. Unfortunately, since I was born, my hair has grown like a chia pet, so even with a short professional haircut, I look like a person with a plug in an outlet. This product saved the day. It's not about being pretty (the ship's already put to sea, and I'm not Brad Pitt either). I just don't want to look like I have a sleestack head (this is a classic example). This spray is applied wet and dries fairly quickly while giving you plenty of time to brush your curls where you want them to stay. It will still have that "wet" look after it dries, but if you run a brush or comb over it it will disappear and lo and behold, your hair stays where you styled it! And you can't even say you used anything. Not greasy or gel and when it dries you can run your hand through your hair without leaving a sticky residue.
