I think this is a good dog food. Unfortunately the pieces are too big and hard for my two older Shih Tzu. What were you thinking when creating this material? Older small breed dogs usually have dental problems and may even have lost a few teeth. I was able to break up a few of these chunks (not an easy task) and my dogs ate the food with no problem, but they refuse to eat the large chunks that are almost like small rocks. Orijen should make food a little smaller for the elderly to make it easier to chew.
