Incredible protection and thoughtful design.

It's a really great idea to have slots that twist and turn to give extra room so your power supplies don't overlap and block access to the neighboring connector. Most other extenders only allow a subset of the available slots due to overlapping adapter blocks. Aside from impeccable performance (e.g. 1800W output, 4320J surge protection), one has to admit that 12 usable slots is an outstanding achievement. It replaced two 8-way power strips under my desk (not all of which were usable) and I still have three free slots. Living in South Florida, where summer thunderstorms are frequent and the power goes on and off so often, I have just about everything (not just computers and large appliances) with some surge protection. that the 10 meter cable is superfluous for my needs and the cable is so thick that it is really impossible to wind up the excess. Due to the size of the cord and the fact that when you have a pair of plugs the device doesn't like being flat, it's really an extension cord that can be used on the floor. With a cable that long, it would be impractical to connect something like a TV or audio system. It would be nice to have a few USB sockets to charge things like phones or power things like external hard drives or memory card readers. However, it's hard to complain about such protection at such a low price.
