High protection class, large capacity, excellent performance.

I've used Monoprice for cable management for many years and was pleasantly surprised that they've expanded their line to include other quality products like this rotating surge protector. Your usual network filters are poisoning my existence. No electronics manufacturer makes a power supply that is similar in size or shape to another. And when you put them together, they're bound to take up more than one area of the nest because of their shape and size. Because of this problem I have chained…

Decent surge protector with flexible plug arrangement

Oddly enough, it looks almost exactly like the Belkin brand power strip (although it also has a cord in/out) that Revain is offering to me at the moment. I wonder what's going on there. 12 end caps with the outer ones rotating as you would expect from a product listing. Note that it's highly unlikely that you should plug 12 devices into a standard 15 amp outlet, but it depends on what the devices are and whether you're using them all at the same time. But you can make it work for your media…

Mist Accessories and Consumables

The button broke last week and now the device no longer works. It's only been 6 months which is very disappointing. Wouldn't buy again.

Big and very useful

Everything I buy these days seems to come with its own power cord with some kind of giant charger/converter/transformer/whatever on the end. On a typical six outlet surge protector, I can plug in three plugs and then have to unplug some so that I can connect the surge protector to the surge protector to get two of each. This is not a new design. The eight sockets rotate to allow you to insert those large plugs, and I can tuck eight of them into the sides with ease. Four non-rotatable plugs…

Accommodates larger adapters

Considering the number of power connectors supported (12), this is a full-size surge protector. It arrived in a plain white box which may or may not be the final retail packaging. The power cord of this surge protector is very thick and heavy. Although I didn't weigh it, the power cord actually appears to be heavier than the surge protector itself. That doesn't mean surge protectors are easy. The only thing I notice is how heavy and thick the power cord is. The cable is about 10 feet long…

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Damaged

My house had so many electrical appliances it was almost schizophrenic. In addition to our backup generators, we have surge protectors and UPSs throughout. So why do I like it so much? Well I have quite a lot of strips, quite a lot of network filters that are very heavy and don't play well with chords. The parts are too close together and you end up wasting forks. I can name a few consumer products that you might have and since they aren't competitive I think I can. So I have Hue lightbulbs…

Incredible protection and thoughtful design.

It's a really great idea to have slots that twist and turn to give extra room so your power supplies don't overlap and block access to the neighboring connector. Most other extenders only allow a subset of the available slots due to overlapping adapter blocks. Aside from impeccable performance (e.g. 1800W output, 4320J surge protection), one has to admit that 12 usable slots is an outstanding achievement. It replaced two 8-way power strips under my desk (not all of which were usable) and I…
