I've used Monoprice for cable management for many years and was pleasantly surprised that they've expanded their line to include other quality products like this rotating surge protector. Your usual network filters are poisoning my existence. No electronics manufacturer makes a power supply that is similar in size or shape to another. And when you put them together, they're bound to take up more than one area of the nest because of their shape and size. Because of this problem I have chained network filters. Thanks to this rotating surge protector, I can tidy up the cables under my computer desk. The most important thing about any surge protector is its ability to protect your devices from surges. I prefer never to test it at full capacity, but on paper this Monoprice unit can handle 4320 J***. *** I wasn't sure if the lack of a decent hardware protection warranty was worth taking a star off this product. . However, other surge protector manufacturers offer it, so be aware. Since my device came in a clear plastic bag with no box and no additional manuals or instruction manuals, I'm not 100% sure Monoprice offers this type of guarantee. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the paper reviews of this device, as well as its design and capacity. Finally, the 10ft power cord is a great feature that will make your purchasing decision much easier.
