This cap is molded with a part number. If I had climbed onto the roof before ordering the "Universal" cover, I would have noticed the number BVD0449 on my damaged original cover. If your cap has this part number it will fit. I had to return my first purchase and this one fits perfectly. It's also a good idea to check the condition of the vinyl gasket around the top of the vent where the metal frame meets the vent cover.
