Note that the PetAmi pet blanket is listed in multiple listings that appear to be for the same product. BUT some state they are waterproof. This product does not claim to be waterproof. However, this product LOOKS exactly the same, the listing is the same, the price is the same BUT this duvet does not appear to be waterproof and while it doesn't mention it in the description it's easy to miss considering EVERYTHING OTHERS on the item looks exactly like the waterproof version. Unfortunately I discovered this the hard way when I bought two of these blankets to protect my new sofa and there could be nothing on them at all. I don't want other buyers to lose sight of this important difference when it's incredibly easy to overlook and end up ending up in your new sofa cushion with dog urine. This is a pretty good blanket. Soft but too warm for my personal preference. Without impregnation, it's just an old ceiling. A blanket you could probably get cheaper. Waterproof would justify the price. I think my dogs will be glad they can wear it now as I find it useless for the purpose I bought it for. I don't know if it's the fault of the seller or Amazon or someone who writes the listings and should make that difference in the products clearer. Having bought several such products and read reviews (and I'm sure many other people would have done the same), it's very easy not to realize that you ordered the wrong product and didn't buy a waterproof blanket. To be honest I'd hesitate to believe the other version is actually waterproof as the comforters look the same. an important difference, and yet they don't seem to be putting much effort into making buyers aware of the difference. Very disappointed.
