I have no idea why this applies to pets. It's a good throw, but not for animals. Not a water liner like most, and no pets with claws no matter what you do! It hooks very easily and those hooks turn into holes almost immediately. Although the holes are nice, like they were cut out with a surgical blade. It also sheds those pesky little clumps of fluff, but it's nice and soft and cozy. OMG, I just realized this isn't FOR pets, it's a pet.

Don't waste your money! I have read many reviews on several blankets and even searched "kaufest" on Google. This one has been recommended on many websites and blogs but obviously its quality isn't as good as it used to be, or maybe I have a super dog but it was destroyed in one day leaving a mess in the caged dogs and their room. It is not safe for pets to ingest. Don't waste money. Find the best product

We bought two of these for our rescue pup and she loves them. One in her kennel where she sleeps at night (and sometimes during the day!) and the other in our common room on the dog couch and she really loves them! Often when she's quiet and out of sight we look for her and often she's sleeping on a blanket on her dog couch! I love the size and softness of this comforter. It covers almost the entire sofa so my dog's fur doesn't get tangled on the sofa. My dog also loves to take his bones and toys on the couch and will have saliva and stickiness all over them. At first we were immediately disappointed that the taupe blanket we ordered was so much grayer than taupe that we thought Revain had supplied the wrong blanket. But they sent the right product. My dog loves the blanket Santa gave him. Very soft, no lint anywhere, bright colors, warm, super thin and not waterproof but he likes to wrap himself in his own blanket.
