Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great paddle for beginners it seemed like it should go to intermediate level

I just got it yesterday and only played 3 games with it today but damn I was ahead of where I was with mine last paddle was . I used the Styker 5 7.3 OZ which was $60 from Dicks Sporting Goods. I initially liked it because it was so light, but after playing with it constantly I found that it absorbed contact with the ball. Basically, he had no power. This new paddle is solid and I played much better today with more power, precision and easier positioning. I also like the texture on it. I was able to get a small spin without much effort, which helped my game a lot. It says it's a 7.8 ounce paddle, but up to 8.2 ounces. It doesn't seem much heavier than my Stryker 5 so that's what it looks like. Although I really like the grip. I just find it more comfortable and better/easier to switch grips for net throws. I love that they also give you a paddle jacket, I wasn't expecting that. Overall I haven't played with it much so I'll give it a 4 but I would say my last paddle was on a 1 so it's definitely better.
