My Yorkie is exactly in the S-Medium category so I bought her that size. It looked pretty big when I took it out of the box and it was. It's really long and she's actually longer than most Yorkies because she has a bit of dachshund mixed into her DNA. The neck fitted well, but the chest was large. She didn't mind wearing a sweater, but she would somehow get her front leg and paw out of the hole and end up ruining everything. I had to constantly put her little foot in the hole. This sweater looks exactly as described and is of good quality but has an odd fit. The body is wide and long. I could easily downsize without being too tight. Now my dog only wears this sweater on walks when I'm around to fix any wardrobe malfunctions. I don't wear a sweater to her around the house (which I wanted to do) or when she walks outside without me. If it suits your dog, this sweater is worth the money. But my girlfriend is fine.
