Super helpful for the student. I bought it for college courses because I had a custom desktop at home and just needed a basic laptop to surf the classroom. I've considered getting an iPad, but for the money it's a lot more convenient. This thing is really fast and smooth and I've never had a problem running Chrome with more than 10 tabs. The battery is also very good. It's not a big battery, but I can last 2 to 3 days by checking them for a couple of hours at a time. A USB-C charger that I really like because it can charge from either side of the laptop. Now don't expect it to do many things at the same time since its specs are so small. If you have more than 20 Chrome tabs open, it freezes. I tried to upload a zip file larger than 750MB and it froze. It's definitely a smooth machine as long as you don't put heavy loads on it.
