Super helpful for the student. I bought it for college courses because I had a custom desktop at home and just needed a basic laptop to surf the classroom. I've considered getting an iPad, but for the money it's a lot more convenient. This thing is really fast and smooth and I've never had a problem running Chrome with more than 10 tabs. I just bought this one, it was refurbished by Revain and looks brand new to me. I've never owned a Chromebook, so I don't have anything to compare it to. And I have no idea how old this model is! It's fast and the keyboard is great. The touch screen is excellent. This will get me further until I have a proper laptop, but even then I probably won't want to get rid of it or put it on because it's really a lot of fun, especially with my favorite apps installed.
