Worst Quality Ever Tested

For the past two decades, I've used nearly every brand of this type of brewer at least twice a day and sometimes as many as five times a day. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. I liked the look and decided to try it. There are things I immediately like and things I don't immediately like. Here's a simple list of pros and cons: PROS* It's taller than most and slightly lower/shorter, making it easier to clean* A little "spike" at the top of the filter makes it easy to grab and remove , which in turn makes a cleaner* The small "saucer" it rests on is slightly larger than other brands, making it less likely that the strainer will be off-center, which could cause leaks. cleaned while other brands haven't leaked for years * It's slightly more expensive than competing brewers of the same style * The lid is concave, increasing the likelihood of overfilling/spilling and making it difficult to gauge filling to desired level. A design flaw common to ALL brewers of this type is the way the lid attaches to the brewer. There are two small recessed "dimples" on the lid that clamp two "wings" with small ridges pointing upwards that enter the dimples on the lid under pressure. When you remove the lid to empty and wash the tea leaves, the small "blades" of the clip at the top of the handle protrude, making it very inconvenient to turn the brewer upside down to "tap" the rim of the bin ". , tapping out the tea leaves. Inside. You can't hold it by the handle and tap the edge without breaking the "blades". So your alternative is to not position the tea strainer all the way over the bin and get tea leaves on the outside or all the way around the rim. If you happen to have a larger container for the tea leaves, you can tap on the "far end" of the teapot, away from the handle. Simply redesigning the lid clamps, moving the "wings" to the lid and the "dimples" to the infuser would eliminate this problem. With all of the above I am ordering the next brewer because the GROSCHE leak is a very poor model now. I will return to the Teavana brewer until I find something better, but I will not try the GROSCHE brand again.
