Has relied on the neutral Brooks Ghost since Ghost 6 when I was treated for plantar fasciitis a few years ago. It has a comfortable insole that can easily be replaced with an orthopedic one. Luckily, Ghost 11 and 12's new neutral colors make the Ghost even more appealing because at 70 my days of cute flats are almost over. So back to wearing the Ghost! The most important thing after a tendon rupture in your foot is to wear those cute ballet flats, as well as joints and arthritic knees. I am a very active hiker, not a runner.
