For processing leather and leatherette, I also have a couple of needles (I gave one), but the most interesting thing is that I buy them and bring them from abroad, since it is difficult to find "branded” needles in our stores, or their quality does not correspond to any standards (manufactured apparently in China), which is why there are many fakes, so to speak counterfeit. Be careful, firstly, the packaging should only be in the form of plastic boxes and no paper or film shiny wrappers, these are not candies. Secondly, "Singer" needles are not sold individually, but only in sets. Singer needles for sewing machines have a very sharp tip and practically do not blunt, do not rust or become electrified, do not attract the smallest dust particles. By the way, I was advised not to throw away old or bent Singer needles, from which, after their service in the sewing field, they can be melted down to make some original women's jewelry.
