The strength and sharpness of their credo

Singer needles for sewing machines are one of the best quality heavy-duty needles that are designed for sewing machine brands: native Singer, Brother, Kenmore, as well as other well-known sewing equipment manufacturers. I have two Brother sewing machines. and "Janome" and I like to work with these "Singer" needles, I buy them for processing dense and thick fabrics, for example, denim, drape or upholstery (furniture covers) and this number 18 (110) is great. There are 3 pieces of needles in this

Pros
  • Do not rust during storage and do not become electrified during operation
Cons
  • There are fakes

I have a lot of respect for the Singer brand. I have a sewing machine from them and I try to buy a needle from them. Rarely something happens to them, as they are very high quality and strong. But I sometimes sin and do not observe the density of the material, so the needle resists. The brand in the clothing industry is very common and it is very easy to find them for sale, even in marketplaces. Even in harsh conditions, in every sense for a needle, it does not break, but simply bends. Of…

the ability to use needles

At first I couldn't twist the plastic case to get the needle out. I had to take it apart to get the needle. Second, it must be self-tapping. It does not work. I broke the thread every time. Finally I tied the old fashioned way. When I sewed the piping onto the quilt with the needle, the needle broke. I still can't figure out why this happened. I've never had a hand sewing needle. I ordered these because of the ease of threading and the availability of new sharp needles. I didn't get either.

Singer Self-Tapping Needles

Great Idea, Poor Execution. The gap between the two parts of the eye of the needle is so small that the thread breaks more often than it breaks. When my mother-in-law said she was having threading issues, I told her I would take care of it and let her know how, but I found I had the same problem. I bought her other threading needles which worked great (the brand on them was 'JOHN JAMES' I was REALLY disappointed in them as I bought 5 packs thinking 'good price and also a Singer brand' and gave…

Useful for those who can't find small pinholes

I teased my husband when he first needed reading glasses... until I needed them, I realized it wasn't was funny. One of the biggest problems I now have to see up close - even with reading glasses - is threading needles. Whether by hand or with a sewing machine, I usually have to try a few times before threading through the hole. This is SO disappointing! These Singer self-threading hand needles aren't perfect, but they help a lot. You simply pull the thread through the groove at the top of the…
