Review on 🚱 ZeroWater Certified BPA Free Dispensers with Advanced Filtration by Lakeem Pickel

If you're slow filtering drains, read this and a tip to help extend the life of your filter.

If you are reading about this Zero Water Change Filter, you probably have a Zero Water jug or dispenser. Filtering drains slowly can correct this. The problem is that the filter probably has a large air pocket inside that is preventing water from passing through. Just tap the filter and sometimes the bubble will break into smaller bubbles and come out through the two holes. If that doesn't help, try a small blunt object and poke the membrane underneath. Be careful not to puncture the membrane. This should release most of the air trapped at the top of the filter. Once the air is out, the filter empties properly. To extend the life of the filters, I use two dispensers. I filter the water twice. For the first filter I use a filter with a value of 6 or higher. Since my tap water is over 200, my first filter lowers that by a large number even though it's higher than 6. So my second filter filters water that is well below the tap water value. When the second filter showed a value above 6, I used it as the first filter and replaced the first filter with the new one. A new filter always filters the water from the 2nd time. It's a small job, but I'm extending the life of the filter. Yes, I like Zero Water, the water tastes good enough for people like me who don't like drinking plain water. To update. The new Zerowater filter stick is printed in blue and is connected to the filter. The old stock is just a black ring 0. Both filter the same way. Blue print comes with lid. I found out why, keep reading. The first two filters in my last 12 pack seem fine, but when I opened the third, water was dripping out of the new filter. There was even condensation on the lid. I emailed Zerowater asking about this condition. Here's what came from customer support: - Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. Before adding carbon to the filters, it is washed. A cap has been added to retain moisture and extend filter life. The filter is safe to use. Thank you Josh, ZeroWater Account Manager. That is why the new standard filters are supplied with caps. The caps keep moisture in the filters.
