Review on PowMr Solar Charge Controller 40A by Mikey Shook

I really like the features of this controller for the money (amp-hour tracking, USB, high power, selectable ranges to charge and discharge, etc.); However, on the device I received, manually turning the load on and off does nothing. LOAD IS ALWAYS CONNECTED as long as the voltage threshold is reached. To disconnect the load you must switch the load AFTER the controller. The controller must be able to control the load, so either they are programmed incorrectly from the factory, or just my device is defective. I have not tested my device to ensure that it properly shuts down the load when the battery is low. Maybe yes, maybe no. SELLER DID NOT RESPONSE TO EMAILS THROUGH AMAZON SO DO NOT EXPECT CUSTOMER SUPPORT!
