Review on ⚡️ Ultimate Protection: Ubiquiti ETH-SP-G2 Surge Suppressor/Protector by Darius Carraway

That does not work. Save your money

They don't work, save your money. Our cell was filled with water and the 24V surge melted the RJ45 jack and killed our switch port. The Ubiquiti Ethernet surge protector remains intact. This ETH-SP-G2 could not protect our devices even with such a small power surge. We had a ground rod 3 feet in the ground with a line just 13 feet from the camera and it got crisp. The camera was connected to the Ubiquiti Surge Surge Suppressor using the ToughCableCarrier and connectors. And the ETH-SP-G2 was connected to a ground rod just a few feet away. Every component in this small network of cameras was wired 100% to specification. But ETH-SP-G2 could not protect our hardware. PS: You will need an M5 hex nut, M5x10mm pan head or hex head bolt and M5 external toothed lock washer to properly ground it (not included).
