I have had several brands of magnetic aquarium cleaners to compare this product to. The assembly is very easy, it feels like it will break in a fall. The magnet is very weak. To transfer the device from the front of the aquarium to the glass side wall, you need to remove it from the water and manually place it on the adjacent side. Because the device is so light, it levitates too quickly before the magnet can grab when you move it. The cleaning pad works well, which is why it gets 3 stars. A scraper made of some kind of hard plastic doesn't scratch the glass well. However, it is not intended for thorough cleaning. It's more of a daily scrub with a scraper. If you want tough seaweed, you'll need a metal scraper on a stick. Or walk on glass 100 times. For the price, I'll leave it at a simple window cleaner. Spend a few bucks more and find a better option.
