I have stubborn toenail fungus which I have treated with 10% tea tree oil in rubbing alcohol at night and tolnaftate solution in the morning but the medication has not helped it penetrate. I read an article in a medical journal about using 40% urea to remove infected nails, so I applied this gel to the affected nails and covered them with bandages twice a day. After 2 weeks, the infected nails detached and the white plaque underneath completely disappeared, but the healthy nail at the base was unaffected. Now the nail bed is clean and open for me to treat. By the way, most so-called 40% urea products are not really 40%, they contain 40% urea as an ingredient. This product is 40% legal.
