Best Leather Product for Leather Bags

Over the years I've used various types of leather conditioners including mink oil and handbag makers. They got it right, but I was concerned about the disclaimers that wouldn't justify use on pebbled leather, or the fact that the heavy oils in the product would "eat away" the leather texture. I have used Bick 4 on all my bags before I wear them, on my boots before I wear them and on my leather coats for protection. I had a dark pink Rebecca Minkoff MAB leather bag that I love. I treated it with Bick 4 3 times before taking it outside. Wearing navy blue jeans that had previously been washed at least 4 times, the residual color from the jeans was wiped off my lovely bag! I was speechless to say the least! As soon as I spotted the stain, I rushed like a madman across town to the best shoemaker I knew to professionally remove the stain. The clerk didn't help and said there was nothing he could do and the best advice he could give was to just leave a stain! Are you kidding me?!? So I decided to clean the stain myself. When I got home, I poured in more Bick 4 conditioner and gently rubbed and buffed until the whole stain was gone. After that, the bag looked like new, without blue. I was pleased! I can only recommend this product for leather bags other than suede or nubuck. Works and works well! And in my opinion, this is my first choice to protect my precious collection of leather bags.
