PlayStation still gets warm but not as hot as before. The only thing I don't like is the creaking at first start and when it cools down. When everything is going well, you can't even tell it's on. This is for the fan. The hub is absolutely useless. I put my hard drive in the slots and when you put it in the non 3.0 slots it tells you it should be in the 3.0 slot but when you put it in that slot it won't read. It still charges my controllers when I need it. But I still don't use it because then I can't use my hard drive. In short, if you have or plan to have an external hard drive, you should try to find another hub or just get a fan.
