I doubted it would work but I hate throwing away kcups so I decided to give it a try. The scoop makes filling the plastic cup easier and simplifies the process. It took me a few times to learn it but now it happens automatically. I grind the beans before bed (I know, horror), fill 2 plastic cups in the morning and voila. good coffee I really had to play around with how to finely grind the beans. For me it has to be much finer than what I'm used to from strong coffee. After brewing the cup, I drain the coffee grounds and rinse the plastic cup. I hand wash the cups, but you can probably use the dishwasher as well. I am happy with this purchase.
