My Honda Ridgeline key broke after over 10 years of regular use. I couldn't get upset because it was taking so long. To be honest, I did NOT want to pay more than $250 for a single dealer key. So I did a little research on the internet and found this very inexpensive dongle. I was excited not to pay more than $250. It arrived relatively quickly and after quickly figuring out how to transfer all the old parts over to the new key I was delighted to save so much money. I immediately noticed that the key is not of the same quality as the original Honda key, but that didn't bother me because of the high Amazon rating and the low price. About a week later I noticed a small crack forming where the key blade passed. in plastic. In the third week of use, the key blade had completely detached from the plastic base. I was angry. Although the key itself was very cheap, I had to drive across town to have the key blade cut at a Honda dealer. It cost me $15 just for the cut and over an hour of driving and waiting for the job to be completed. It went from saving grace to burns. I will never recommend this product and will actively discourage people from buying it. I hope this review will save someone time and money.
