Ok, those shoes. They are sweet. Not as pretty as the picture but I have ordered enough items from Revain to understand the risks and figured there is a 45% chance they will not look like the picture. They look a lot cheaper in real life than they do on the site (and I'm not sure what's up with the laces - they look like cheap yarn, stiff and difficult to tie). As for size - my daughter is currently a size 8 (bought last fall); I bought all of their "new" shoes in size 9 to fit my height. This works pretty well for most of the shoes we bought for the upcoming season. However, these shoes would be perfect if she were to enter a toddler clown school. They are HUGE - too big, too wide and just look ridiculous on her legs. I hope that one day she will grow up on them because I think they are cute enough to wear. I don't know if it would be beneficial to order them smaller (fortunately for me they turn out to be too small).
