One size larger than US, comfortable fabric
This product has exceeded all expectations. The material is decently thick (as good as the nicer branded team swimsuits my kids got and paid more for). My waist is 35 and I chose XL. I think the fit is correct. Maybe a little loose at the bottom, but the transition to the L could be too tight. I have a 21" mean thigh diameter and at the base of the suit a few inches above the knee I'm 21". Took him for a swim this morning and it was great. The material has a slight ribbed look, which I really liked.
