Received the MT300 DA today. The instructions state that fasteners should be included, i.e. a spindle wrench and a hex wrench that can be used to adjust the grip. He came with neither one nor the other. In the box was only the polisher itself without any additional accessories. So I thought I'd try attaching the base plate with my own tools, which of course didn't work as they weren't that flat. I tried a 14mm wrench that fit the screw but was too thick. So right now I have an expensive paperweight. However, I was able to adjust the grip with my own (not supplied) 6mm allen key. The last thing I noticed was that it had a slight wobble as the base plate rotated. I expect the axis of the screw, held by a spindle wrench (not included), to be perpendicular to the surface of the work surface and not at a slight angle that would cause wobble when turned. Maybe that's regulated, but if so, then that's not taken into account in the instructions.
