I hate socks. I only wore socks for shoes or because my toes are cold. I was expecting the socks to be the itch and irritation everyone is talking about. THESE IDEAS ARE WRONG! These socks completely changed my idea of what socks can be. I will NEVER buy cotton socks again. I keep them all day and all night. They made my composite work boots so much more comfortable I forgot I was wearing them. I hand wash these little ones HAPPILY so they can live longer. Because these socks are so good, I'm seriously considering buying wool fabrics made from the same type of wool. Without shoes, socks offer more protection from the weather. They don't protect your feet from the cold, they just adapt better. As far as shoes go, I think I can handle temperatures below 30 with no problem. I'm curious to see what they can do in the summer. Now I am a regular buyer of wool socks.
