Caused lots of blue screens of death and error codes
This 16GB stick was bad from the start. When I installed it on the motherboard and booted up my computer, in less than 10 minutes my computer started getting a blue screen with various error codes. At first I wasn't sure if RAM was the culprit, so I decided to try a clean install of Windows, but the install failed. Then I tried to install Ubuntu (Linux OS) and the installation hung, so I ordered two 8GB RAM modules from another manufacturer and everything worked fine. just bad luck with this module
