I got the standard size 24 with my pump and used them for the first month of exclusive pumping. I noticed it was pulling my areola into it and creating bumps around my nipple. It wasn't super painful, but it was uncomfortable. I had read in the first week that the size matters but I disregarded it and sucked it up. I was trying to increase supply and read once again that size does matter. I finally made myself take a measurement and ordered these and oh my goodness, the difference was like night and day! I'm no longer uncomfortable when I pump and I've already noticed an increase in my supply! I also like the shape better than what came with my Medela In Style.they seal better and I don't lose any suction! Seriously, don't be like me and just deal with a wrong size flange. It's worth getting the right size!
