Review on LASCO 10 0061 Compression Adapter 2 Piece by Bobby Posner

We ran into the same problem many others have mentioned: Home Depot does NOT have the required adapter! We bought the closest thing we could find, and despite the many plumber's tapes on the threads. Both hot and cold leaked out at the joint. We concluded that a rubber grommet was needed for a truly watertight seal (it's a plumbing job, after all) and the HD simply didn't have one. Seems crazy. Anyway - used their package (includes 2 sets of adapters) for the DELTA Everly bathroom faucet. Year of construction plumbing 1960s. with 1/2" lines to the 3/8" plastic hose that comes with the faucet. Worked great. Sealed with no drips and no tape (brave move, I know). The price was comparable to a non-working HD set ($5 each).
