Connecting and installing is easy

Bought last week, arrived today. It's pretty easy to connect and install, especially if you watch the YouTube installation videos. The only additional purchase was from Home Depot for a threaded adapter for my kitchen faucet because my faucet is not 3/4". I had it installed and had water running in under ten minutes. It takes about an hour and a half to press 5 Gallons of purified (filtered) water and produces about 5:1 wastewater to produced water The great thing about this unit is that it works well for the price Zero TDS on my TDS meter It's quite portable if you pay attention "Not to hit it too much. It's perfect for use in a reef tank, which is what we got it for. It also uses standard sized membrane filters for the reverse osmosis section. The only downsides I see are related to size and cost They aren't that much more expensive than full-size 10" canister liners, but they are slightly more expensive and are likely to wear out/clog faster than their larger counterparts peril. It doesn't bother me that much as this RO/DI unit is used almost exclusively for our nano reef aquarium. We're talking 5 gallons of filtered water a week, so don't worry unless you need a lot more water. An in-line reverse osmosis/reverse osmosis system from the same company costs a little more but is worth it for someone who doesn't know how to properly connect the compression fitting hoses. This small reverse osmosis system is perfect for my needs.
