Update: I noticed some of my friends like to wear their socks pulled up and I wanted to point this out in case others are looking to do the same with these socks. Keep in mind I don't think these are meant to be worn that way, they look way too tacky when pulled up (see photo). I wished they had made the interior the same color as the exterior so that when it stretches it will stay in line with the overall look of the sock. Unfortunately, since they didn't, when stretched it will make the interior color bleed though and look completely horrible. I don't think even the thinnest calves will prevent that as even scrunched down you can still see it slightly but at least it's not too noticable. I know this is a bummer because the pulled up look is popular but wanted to mention it so you won't be disappointed if that was your intention when choosing these socks. I kept the rating the same because the length isn't super long in the first place to give you the impression it should be worn pulled up anyways. Either way, thought you should know. Luckily my husband doesn't wear them that way anyways, so he's quite happy with them.These SuMade novelty socks are some nice quality socks to wear, they're quite comfortable despite lack of thickness. They're on the thinner side, perhaps not overly cozy or warm but provide a nice happy medium adequate comfort. They appear to be good spring, fall sock choices. Material is made of 80% combed cotton,17% polyester & 3% spandex. The calf part of the socks are slightly tight and need some pulling apart to get your foot in, after that it's very comfy. But do keep in mind I wouldn't recommend these for those with large ankles with thick or wide calves. I think where these socks shine the most is the color & design. I received the green maple leaf socks (despite what others might think the leaf looks like, ha), the dark green color is vivid, it pops and is attractive. The bold maple leaf design is eye-catching. My husband loves these socks as they're not too hot or thin but just right to wear with his slides. The price of $16 is justified due to the novelty designs & vibrant colors choices the brand offers. This comes down mainly to preference. However it was a win in our household.
