I ordered 2 beautiful handmade leather collars for my girls from an Etsy seller and this leash was recommended to me. I've looked everywhere for other options but I'm very glad I chose this one. The lines are beautiful and of very good quality. It was very difficult or impossible to find another brand of leash of the same quality and price. The leather is thick, smooth, and oiled on one side (how are expensive quality boots sometimes oiled?), but suede on the other. It is soft, comfortable and flexible in the hand. This way you can simply fix the grip on your thumb and wrap it around your hand several times. Those of you with large, strong dogs (I have Catahoula leopard dogs that weigh 75-80 pounds) will appreciate this leash. I've had them for a few months and they haven't stretched. Stainless steel rings and clips are smooth and durable. There are thick stitching for reinforcement and finishing where the rivets are. No loose ends and no tangles anywhere. .One thing. I'm 5ft 4" and this 6ft leash is too long for me because my dogs wear martingale collars and have to walk beside me. So I have a great length that I take by holding the lines in one hand and clenched in the other. If you are tall or your dogs are used to long leashes then these are perfect for you. 3-4 feet would be better for us. But I will leave them because they are such a beautiful trait. Maybe the local shoemaker will cut them to make 2 more lines.
