Most people are not aware that wires have different temperature ranges. The higher temperature rating and MADE IN USA are two things I liked, along with the fact that they are well made. I'm picky and I make a lot of things myself so I know it's the right thing and well done. I did not purchase it for the uses listed. I have a Ford 6.0 diesel with an ICP sensor under the turbo. If that sensor fails you're stuck without starting, but when it's disabled the ECU doesn't see it, it goes into a mode that still works but not at maximum power so you don't get stuck on the side of the road. I used this to allow access under the hood to disable it and add length along with test point access when needed. This is the same Delphi 3 pin connector so will match the OEM sensor and connector and is MUCH better than the flimsy wire that melts and snaps from China.
