Review on πŸ”Œ Arduino Compatible CQRobot DMX Shield with MAX485 Chipset (RDM Capable) for DMX512 Network Integration, LED/Music Remote Device Management, and Extended DMX Master Capabilities by Ryan Noble

Easy DMX connections

Worked well for me to drive 4 LEDs. The only thing I did was toggle the EN jumper on and off to allow programming as the serial port cannot be active at the same time for DMX and USB programming. Stick a piece of tape on it to take it easier. The MAX485 chip is certainly a lot cheaper than the board, but you're paying for the convenience of being able to just plug in the Arduino and play, rather than rolling your own. blackboard or layout. I used the Arduino Create web console and just used the available libraries #include <ArduinoRS485.h>#include <ArduinoDMX.h>
