Thinner than expected but beautiful color corresponds to the picture.

I have thicker and more luxurious comforters, but I was looking for a very specific shade of purple, not too pale lavender and not too dull purple-grey. I never seem to be able to get a quilt that looks exactly like the color shown on screen so I am very happy with this purchase. We all need a light summer duvet sometimes, so the weight doesn't matter to me. This color goes well with a dark purple or aubergine ceiling. I will update this review with a photo when my throw pillows arrive. The blanket is as soft as you would expect from the photo.
