It's real (not PU) leather, looked good in the photo and came in nice colors and because the comments confirmed that it enables wireless charging . The actual occasion when it arrived (immediately!) confirmed all of this. It doesn't add bulk and allows the phone to easily fit in your pocket. My only criticism was that there was no way to attach a strap, but it was easy to drill a small hole to attach an inexpensive strap purchased separately (see photo). I'm thinking of buying another one in a different color just for fun.
