Review on Rexing Degree Supercapacitor G Sensor Recording by Scott Carlile

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent camera with integrated GPS and rear view camera

Benefits Trusted experience with Rexing and its previous camera model Provide cable clips to hide connectors 4 and a plastic tool to hide cables behind panels Rear view camera with GPS capabilities Easy to use software Wi-Fi capabilities that allow you to upload files on the fly instead of removing the memory card to download videos Supercapacitor instead of battery G-sensor for collision with automatic lock for the current recording The program can display your location on Google Maps when you are driving. Pretty neat in my opinion if you use it on trucks or work vehicles. The rear camera view is picture-in-picture (wish I could choose which one to show on the LCD screen). The software is easy to use, just open the program and click on the file: Open and select the video. Not sure why the video is a bit blurry when playing in the software player when it also shows card speed etc but when expanded it is sharp and when I check from a saved file and over it play the .vlc player, it looks great. The license plates are very clear and easy to see during the day. minuses. The size is significantly larger than the old version, which is understandable since it has built-in GPS and you can connect a rear camera. See photos for a comparison between this and the older one I have. The cable for the reversing camera was very long! I have a Honda Civic Coupe Si and I had to put a lot of cables in the roof. Minor cons No alcohol swabs or wipes Computer software requires more attention. Player and video controls are not smooth. I don't know why there was no G-sensor data when opening the selected video. 10/20/2018 Installed V1pro with the same PSU I used previously for my previous model. The 3m camera mount is different from the previous model, so I had to stick a new window film. (The previous 3m tape and camera mount were never unscrewed and I live in Texas (sometimes I removed the camera when parked in direct sunlight). Would be great if the same mount was used. Will wear over time I haven't used the Wi-Fi skills yet and will upload some comments when I do!
