pshsh read other reviews. Confused by the phrase "it makes the bar slippery" lol! It's really just a matter of cleaning the bar and removing all buildup from hand and body products, but keeping the bar in good condition to swing and dance on. Buy it! It's not a waste of time, and if you don't like the feel of the bar you get a different level of experience, which isn't bad. You really have to work a little harder when you're used to a dirty bar. I also bought the X Cleans Pole Cleaner and used both together. The combination is exceptional and will be my new pole cleaning process until I get bored and look for new products. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with a beginner combo or a seasoned pro.
