Clearance where it should touch the windshield

Driver's side blade does not touch the windshield in the exact center from the driver's perspective. There is about 6 or 7 inches of play right where it attaches to the wiper arm. Other blades worked fine, just worn out, so it's not in the hand. I also worked in a car dealership for 12 years and glued hundreds of blades.
