Firstly, I'm 6ft 7in and weigh 250lbs which means I have long arms which are quite large but there definitely are people with meatier hands than me . I bought these gloves to make it easier to commute about 30 minutes one-way to work in Denver during the winter. but they seem to be related. I've read of others not liking it as the liner can be pulled out and difficult to put back on. I haven't had this experience (yet), but this is cause for concern. The wrists are a little shorter than I need, but if you're of average height, they might fit you. The fingers are pretty tight. My thumbs, which are a bit shorter than many people with hands my size, fit snugly on the end of the glove, and the base of the thumb also fits snugly. The finger attachments of the gloves deviate slightly from the finger attachments, but this doesn't seem to be a problem to me so far. Overall I'm happy with the width of this XL glove, but the length could have been better; I doubt the 2xl gloves are long enough to send back and get a different size. But if I were going to take longer trips, I probably would.
